nlimoneneA general term applied to certain terpenes, C10H16. The dextrorotatory derivative is also called hesperidene, carvene, and citrene. The inactive compound is termed dipentene, cajuputene, cinene, diisoprene, isoterebentene, etc.
Among the constituents of this oil are: linalyl acetate, limonene, dipentene, linalol, and bergaptene.
